FriendTech Ventures exists because most teams don't need another tool, another deck, or another consultant who delivers a PDF and disappears.

They need someone who'll sit down, understand the problem, and help build the solution — whether that's a multi-agent AI system, a product strategy that actually aligns the team, or a pitch narrative that closes a round.

We're not an agency with a bench. We're not a consultancy with a methodology. We're a studio that takes on projects we find interesting, with people we want to work with, in domains where we can make a real difference.

The thesis is simple: AI accelerates ideaflow at scale. Rapid prototyping and experimentation drive value — not roadmaps, not decks, not planning cycles that outlast the assumptions they're built on.

The companies that need the most help right now aren't tech startups — they're the manufacturers, service businesses, and operators still running on spreadsheets and group texts. They need someone who understands both the strategy and the systems. That's the gap we fill.

The best way to figure out what to build is to build something, put it in front of people, and learn. The best way to align a team is to make the aim concrete enough to argue about. The best way to raise money is to tell a story that's true.

That's what we do. We build, shape, and frame — so our clients can launch, align, and close.

Product leader, builder, and systems thinker. Stefan has spent his career at the intersection of product, fintech, and operations — from early-stage startups to Fortune 100 institutions.

He's shipped multi-currency payments platforms, led commercial card product strategy at a top-4 U.S. bank, built a vertical SaaS platform in 48 hours, and runs a multi-agent AI system that handles real operational work daily. He advises fintech startups through RevTech Labs, Charlotte's fintech accelerator, and operates Tabbris Innovation Center — a coworking space and community hub for builders in Charlotte.

FriendTech Ventures is the vehicle for the project-based work — building systems, shaping strategy, and framing narratives for teams that need a practitioner, not a slide deck. For deeper thinking on product leadership, AI, and systems — that lives on the personal site.

How we work

Build first, deck later.

Working software beats a strategy document. We'd rather show you a prototype on day five than a presentation on day thirty.

Curiosity over credentials.

The best work comes from genuine interest in the problem. We take on projects because we find them compelling, not because they fit a template.

Independence is the goal.

We build systems and make decisions designed to outlast the engagement. The best outcome is a client who doesn't need us anymore.

Name the tradeoffs.

Every decision has a cost. We'd rather surface the hard tradeoff early than let it ambush the project later. Clarity beats comfort.

Small and sharp.

We're not scaling to fifty people. Staying small means every project gets real attention from someone who's done this before.

Ship and learn.

Perfect is the enemy of validated. Get it in front of people, see what breaks, iterate. That's how good products get built.

Got something interesting?

We're selective about what we take on — but always open to a good conversation.
